Established more than 120 years ago, Swedish Covenant Hospital is Chicago's only member of Planetree, an organization that develops and implements guidelines for patient-centered care. Out of the 5,000 US hospitals, only 125 have committed fully to the Planetree philosophy of treating the whole patient-body, mind and spirit.
