I have some relatives that live out in East Texas. They have been there for a long time and all of their family live out there. Everyone I know that lives out there stays for a long time. It is deep in the bible belt and very religious and conservative. The pace seems to move a lot slower out there, so if you long to get away from the urban rush, East Texas is a good place to go. I predict that once we fill up the land between Dallas and Oklahoma, everyone will start moving east. They have tall trees and lots of shade in the summer time.
