Our Faces in the Crowd profile features Rosemary Meganck, APN, CNM, director of maternal and child services at Saint Anthony Hospital. Meganck has spent her 30-year nursing career advocating for nurses and patients alike. As a certified nurse midwife, she has delivered thousands of babies and in the early 2000s, she spearheaded a successful campaign to get a law passed for advanced practice nurses to be recognized with a separate license.

Our feature article about nurses who conduct research illustrates how nurses throughout Chicagoland can impact and change their daily work lives, while increasing quality patient care.
